Four years ago today at 4:45am a baby boy was born at 1lb 10 oz and 12 inches long and 27 weeks. He clung to life via life support, IV’s, medications, tube feeds, tests and was given a prognosis of less than 50% survival and if he did survive it would be with complications. Wow a lot to handle when your wife is unconscious with her own health issues and you’re seeing your baby for the first time hooked up to monitors and you are told that you cannot touch him. This is A Story of Faith, the journey that for 5 months and beyond Rosie and Marcus Moore would be walking.
Rosie Moore developed stroke level blood pressure of 220/110 without any symptoms physically, she was a stroke waiting to happen. Then there was the baby, there was a reverse blood flow in the placenta, where not enough blood stream was going to the baby. When her blood pressure was high the baby received the needed nutrients, when the blood pressure was controlled the blood flow was slow and not providing nutrients. Both situations were bad, for mom and baby, so the doctors held out as long as they could to make the best determination to spare both lives. One doctor said, I don’t know what to do, it is a grave situation we can lose them both. People all over the world went in to prayer, fasting and exercising their faith, awaiting God’s hand to embrace this mom and baby to do a miracle. As you can see, that is exactly what He did. God listened to prayers and saved them both.
Many people ask Rosie Moore, why do you keep retelling and reliving the story? Many babies are born premature and make it, why is Kaleb’s story so special? What is so special?? It is in her book A Story of Faith by Rosie Moore, but a snip of it, Kaleb was not even supposed to be conceived according to modern medicine. The Doctors said it was impossible. So you ask why tell the story? Because there are many moms and dads out there that are in the same situation without hope of someone encouraging them and praying for them that can encourage them and say God is in control. Because there are women out there battling breast cancer at stage 4, that don’t know that they have other people who were in the same situation and can encourage them, this story of survival is in the book. Because there are single women out there waiting for the right man to come along and lose hope that the right man will come along. Because there are single moms struggling in life that see no end in sight to their struggles, without knowing that there will be light at the end of that struggle.
This is how Rosie Moore of 27 Miracles, runs her wedding and event planning business based on love, honesty and faith to help those in need have a miracle event! God gave her life and hope, Rosie wants to give back, love and hope to others.
It is not Rosie Moore’s job to convince you to read the book, to donate towards the movie or provide hope. It is her job to just share the stories with you and allow you the readers and viewers to do as you feel with the testimony that you are seeing.
