27 Miracles Countdown to Christmas Day 17

“Celebrate the Quirky”

“Learn to chuckle over the silly slip-ups that happen every holiday.  You’ll find that happens every holiday.  Then write them down.  You’ll find that these mishaps often become the fondest memories of all.  “Some of our most memorable moments are the least expected, says Ronald G Nathan, an Albany New York, clinical psychologist.”

What was your fondest Christmas mishap?

I remember being super excited to bake cookies with the kids( mind you I can cook and bake cakes, but cookies, even the slice and bake don’t come out right!!).  One year we are slicing and getting ready to bake the cookies and we pulled them out of the oven and they were flat as a pancake and not done well at all.  I remember my  older son saying, Santa won’t eat those, I said we have store-bought cookies and my son said , “Santa only eats baked cookies, mom not the ones at the store”  Out of  the mouth of babes!!

We have a new tradition that we can share with Kaleb the baby of the family, Dad makes good cookies!!!!!!!

Make Christmas memories with your loved ones and kids, they grow up too fast!
