Congratulations to Lorena and Geoffrey on their engagement! Do you ever wonder when you meet people and you meet up with them again years later if they are meant to be? That is the story of Lorena and Geoffrey. Lorena and Geoffrey were introduced by his friend (which happened to be her sister’s boyfriend) in 2003. A few years later in 2006 they met at a “Pumpkin Run” that is a muddy run for ATV’s and motorcycles. As Lorena said, “I believe there is a first time for everything.” This was the first time that Lorena had been on a four wheeler. She rode for 3 hours with Geoffrey; they laughed, they talked and shared their first kiss. They continued to talk for hours at a time on the phone and became best friends.
Due to circumstances of location they did not get to see each other again, but they maintained a great friendship through the years. In 2010, Lorena and Geoffrey started to realize that they could not live apart any longer and although she was in North Carolina, Geoffrey wanted to make the long distance relationship work. On 12/11/12 Geoffrey drove 9.5 hours so that he could propose to Lorena on 12/12/12. With the help of her sister and her husband, when he arrived at 1am he set up candles, flowers and music so that he can propose.
As you can see from the pictures this happy-go-lucky couple love their bikes and just plain love each other. They decided to do their engagement pictures in Downtown Winter Garden one of Rosie Moore, Master Wedding Planner’s favorite places to take pictures. Thanks to great photography by Nicholas Sabatino of Michael Anthony Photography for capturing this fun loving couple!
So on March 22, 2014 Lorena and Geoffrey will be marrying their best friends. We wish them all the best on their big day!
