A Surprise Rehearsal Dinner for Gabby and Frank

Today was the start of a special celebration for Gabby and Frank. They traveled to Orlando from South Florida for their wedding. They had their rehearsal at Henry Chapel at First Baptist Orlando.

After the wedding rehearsal was completed, we started the celebration with a rehearsal dinner at the Star Island Resort.  It was beautifully decorated in the bride’s favorite color of pink.

The couple did not have any idea that this was being planned for them while they were at First Baptist Orlando for their wedding rehearsal. Eric Clark with 27 Miracles coordinated the rehearsal dinner set up, while Adam Rubman of Orlando DJ and Lighting set up draping and uplights ( in pink of course) to accent the room.  Nick Sabatino of 123 Photyography and Bruce Reynolds of Treasured Moments awaited the arrival of the happy couple for their grand entrance.

The time arrived for the couple to be told why they were at Star Island Resort.   Rosie Moore of 27 Miracles welcomed the couple in and said, “this is your night with your family, a night with those that love you the most.”

Christine Mac Phail, Orlando  harpist, serenaded the couple as they came in with romantic love songs123-26123-19 123-30

Gabby and Frank were surprised.  A strawberry flavored cake awaited them from Party Flavors with pink butterflies ( a sign of new life).123-14The couple was taken back with the beauty of the island resort as they celebrated their love for each other. They wanted to explore and have a moment to dream about love, about their unique love.

Gabby shared her story about the terminal illness that she was enduring.  She started to tell us the long ordeal she has been going through since 2013 until a doctor finally figured out what was wrong.   Listen as Gabby shares her heartfelt story in her own words.  Listen to the strength and faith that she carries in her heart, but most importantly the love and gratitude that she has for the man that will soon be her husband.  It is a love that is often only seen in the movies, but this here is true love…..

Follow us on our wedding blog for the continuation of Gabby and Frank’s wedding.

I Am in A New York State of Mind

As Billy Joel, puts it some folks like to get away…. That is what Migdalia and Edwin did on their wedding day.  They decided to bring their New York state of mind to Orlando.

If you missed Migdalia and Edwin’s engagement story, check it out here :

Migdalia and Edwin Engagement Story

The wedding weekend fast approached, with rehearsal at the church and a nice dinner at Buca Di Peppo, sharing a night with  family and friends.  Thank you to the managers at Buca!  11138168_10152967035397795_8963204353793953295_n  Migdalia gave each of the girls in the bridal party  travel bags so they can have all their wedding stuff organized.  The guys received travel bags for the day of the wedding as well.  The guests received custom label chocolate bars 11121769_10152967036407795_80085076336548155_n

The day arrived for the wedding to begin! Migdalia thoroughly enjoyed her time on Saturday morning getting ready in her bridal suite at First Baptist Orlando. Look at the detail in RJ Glamour’s work as he surprised the bride with a New York bling apple on her bouquet. 27 Miracles loves it when  the wedding professionals surprise their clients!

123- (33 of 541)123- (34 of 541)It is time to welcome the guests!123- (71 of 541)27 Miracles had a surprise guest come to the wedding, hmm….1908352_10152972571522795_6269355648209943462_n

“can you babysit my guinea pig while we are in the ceremony, he won’t make a sound?” Okay we get asked to hold on to purses, watches, bags, hair bands, cell phones, but guinea pigs…okay that is a first…We took their word for it and said sure we did not open it to see what was inside, for fear of what may come out!!

When the bride was planning the wedding with Master Bridal Consultant Rosie Moore of 27 Miracles, she wanted to do something special but did not know what to do.  Rosie Moore suggested that she could  honor Edwin for his service in the Marines and other veterans and active duty military.  The honor guard, came out to First Baptist Orlando to do just that.  What a challenge to keep the groom hidden on one side so that he did not see them come out until it was time.  We had them wait inside the doors and the groom outside the doors of the church in the lobby.  This ensured he did not see them.  Poor Edwin, kept asking Rosie Moore, the planner, why he couldn’t go inside as they practiced the night before.  Finally the time to open the doors came, Moore, explained to Edwin that this is a special surprise for him and after he sees it, he can go inside.  The bride of course could not see the groom, so she took a sneak peek from the side of her room as the honor guard posted their flags to “God Bless the USA.”

Watch the groom’s reaction as he awaits the doors to be opened.

Photographer Nick from 123 Photography captured the Honor Guard as they came in to post their flags. Scott from Treasured Moments Videography was able to capture the moment as they entered.  These are the reasons why video is so important, they give life to your still photography shots and tell the story that is captured with expression.

It’s time to enter the ceremony, the mother of the groom enters followed by Pastor David Uth of First Baptist Orlando and the groom and his groomsmen.

123- (80 of 541) 123- (82 of 541) 123- (85 of 541)Now the moment everyone has been waiting for…the entrance of the bride escorted by her son Marcus.  The bridal party anxiously awaits her entrance while the groom with nervous anticipation holds back tears as the moment has come, when he will see his beautiful bride!

But on the serious note, this couple wanted to start their marriage right with celebrating communion as the song by Nicole C. Mullins “My Redeemer Lives” played softly in the background.

123- (151 of 541) 123- (153 of 541) 123- (154 of 541) 123- (155 of 541) 123- (156 of 541) 123- (157 of 541)The couple wanted to do something different, they decided to do a Unity Cross.

“The Unity Cross is a multi-piece sculpture that is assembled during the Unity Service of the Wedding Ceremony representing how the -Two become One. The Groom places the outer Cross in the beautiful wood base as the Pastor explains how God created man- Bold, Strong, the Defender of the Family yet how he is empty and incomplete without the woman. The Bride then places the more delicate cross inside of the Grooms cross as the Pastor explains how God created Woman- Delicate, multi-faceted, taking care of all of the little things that completes the man, and the -Two become One. The Bride and Groom then use the 3 golden pegs to lock the union(cross) together in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit as the pastor exclaims that: What God has brought together let no man take apart. Then the Unity Cross is taken home and displayed as a Daily Reminder of your Wedding Day and the Covenant that you both have made.”

123- (158 of 541) 123- (159 of 541) 123- (160 of 541)

The Pastor pronounced them husband and wife.  “you may kiss your beautiful bride.” 123- (161 of 541) 123- (162 of 541) 123- (163 of 541) 123- (165 of 541) 123- (167 of 541)Migdalia and Edwin were so thrilled to have their Pastor David Uth marry them and to have the honor guard honor Edwin and all those that served so that we can be free today. 123- (170 of 541) 123- (182 of 541)18114_10152972562262795_5972756448744776646_nWhen you have not seen your family in a while,it is important to capture those special moments with them.  Check out 123 Photography as he captured this happy couple with some fun bridal party shots.

123- (237 of 541)The bride and groom are both from New York and they always said that the day they got married, they wanted to have a New York Themed wedding and that they did!  See the attention to detail that was placed on this themed wedding.  The venue is The Crowne Plaza Universal, with its picture decor of the Big Apple.  The uplights in the background,  a cityscape of New York, thanks to Roque Productions, the wedding cake, has the New York Skyline with the big apple in the background.  Each table was a different city or street that meant something to the bride and groom; from Manhattan, to Park Ave, Rockefeller Center and Central Park.  The red, black and bling colors made this wedding over the top in decor by RJ Glamour and Innovation.  The Wedding cake was customized by Party Flavors, not only beautiful, but delicious with each tier a different flavor.  The cake topper a special order through the U.S. Marines.123- (240 of 541) 123- (241 of 541) 123- (242 of 541) 123- (243 of 541) 123- (245 of 541) 123- (246 of 541) 123- (250 of 541) 123- (251 of 541) 123- (253 of 541) 123- (254 of 541) 123- (255 of 541) 123- (257 of 541) 123- (259 of 541) 123- (260 of 541) 123- (261 of 541) 123- (262 of 541) 123- (263 of 541) 123- (265 of 541) 123- (266 of 541) 123- (267 of 541)

As the 27 Miracles team brought the Bride and groom to see the ballroom for the first time, the expression on their faces tells it all as to how happy they were to see the fruits of the year-long planning come to life. They entered to one of their favorite songs “Native New Yorker” by Odyssey.  The couple got to enjoy a special moment to dance while looking at the ballroom in their little piece of New York at The Crown Plaza.123- (274 of 541) 123- (275 of 541) 123- (277 of 541) 123- (278 of 541) 123- (279 of 541) 123- (280 of 541) 123- (281 of 541) 123- (286 of 541) 123- (289 of 541) 123- (292 of 541) 123- (293 of 541) 123- (295 of 541) 123- (297 of 541) 123- (305 of 541) 123- (309 of 541) 123- (311 of 541)

This crowd never left the dance floor, they danced all night until the end.  Roque productions kept the tunes coming and interacting with the guests.  There was a special request for “The Wobble” because when the groom once forgot the DJ’s name after the initial meeting a year prior, his name became known as “The Wobble Man!” Takes a good DJ/MC team to get the crowd interacting, dancing and joining in for the fun.

Valentine’s Day Countdown Day 10….Marrying MY BFF…..

When 27 Miracles planner Rosie Moore, met Joann and Glenn, it was obvious to her that these tw were each other’s BFF’s .  Joann came to Rosie to plan their honeymoon so off to planning they went.  As they planned over the next few weeks, Joann shared her story on how Glenn and her met.

10313658_10203906860096176_1653480668671278019_n

“Glenn and I met in December 2000 through a co-worker of Glenn’s at Universal Studios.  When we first started dating we both had similar goals and we were both not interested in marriage.  Through the years we’ve shared a lot, seeing family and friends go through divorce, birth’s, marriage’s, death but our love grew stronger and stronger.  For Glenn’s birthday in 2012, I  surprised him and booked a room at one of our favorite hotels, Tradewinds in St. Pete, FL, little did I know Glenn had a bigger surprise waiting for me.  The night of his birthday we went out for a nice steak dinner but he was acting weird and didn’t even finish his steak.  We went back to our room then decided to  take a walk on the beach, and watch the sunset.  As we walked down the beach hand in hand, we talked about things we’ve been through and how much our relationship has grown.  Next thing I know Glenn stopped, looked at me straight in my eyes and started to tell me how much he loves me, he drops to one knee, and says how  he can’t see his life without me in it.  At this point he brought out a ring box and as he opened it, asked me if I would be his wife.  Not only was I shocked and crying my instant answer was “YES!”

“The ring is beautiful and means so much to me because the middle stone was my mother’s diamond from her engagement ring.  She told Glenn, before she passed away, if he decided to marry me not to buy a diamond and to use hers. We chose December 6, 2014 as our wedding date because this was the date of our first date. ”

Valentine’s Day Countdown Day 6

One of the things 27 Miracles wedding planner Rosie Moore, loves doing is a  good wedding surprise for each and every couple.  The joy that it brings to her heart is amazing.  She plans each wedding as if it were her own with love and caring for her special bride ane groom.  When Kimberly and Steve planned their wedding day, they wanted to do something for their mothers that they would not forget.  Kimberly being an event planner in Melbourne at FIT( Florida Institute Technology) had met Myles Savage of the Platters.  He had heard that she was getting married and offered to sing at her wedding.  That was great news! But he had a concert the very same day so he could not stay long.  Kimberly and Steve were happy with having him sing two songs for the mothers at the top of the preceremony after the mothers had entered.  Kimberly had said I will be happy hearing him from my dressing room.

Hearing Myles Savage from a dressing room.  Hmm, Planner Rosie Moore began to think ahead when the plans were being made.  She contacted Myles and asked if he could sing a wedding song about love of his choice to the bride and groom when they got to the altar if we started the ceremony earlier.  He indicated that he would love to!

One other surprise that was planned for Kimberly was having Louise of the Royal Plaza Hotel there.  Louise is the catering manager that had been working with us for two years on the wedding weekend for Kimberly and Steve.  Well, knowing how much Louise loved the Platters and knowing how much Kimberly loved Louise, how can Rosie not make that happen. Just before Kimberly was to go out, Rosie surprised her in her room with a visit from Louise.  She was  so thrilled to have Louise there.

Here it is the day of the wedding, with torrential rain that could stop traffic.  All that Rosie Moore could think about was, Kimberly, Steve and her Father’s surprise not being able to get through due to the rain delaying the guests.  Most of the  guests were from out-of-state or out-of-town.  But as the afternoon progressed, that was not the case, guests were showing up early.  Oh boy when it came time for preceremony we had a full house!!

Rosie went to work and got the musicians to shorten preceremony and here comes the bride with her dad.  As she got to the altar with her father, the minister thanked everyone for coming and on cue, Myles Savage of the Platters sang Twilight Time.  Kimberly, Steve and her father were all too surprised as you can see the expression on all of their faces.

When you pay your love forward to someone else, it comes back to you two fold…..Love  with your heat daily…..

Valentine’s Day Countdown Day 5….Horse Drawn Carriage Surprise

Sometimes people get married and they would love to add certain elements to their wedding, but at the time of the wedding it is not always possible.  That was the case for Ana and Jay, when they were first married. Jay had wanted to surprise Ana with a horse and carriage but he was not ale to at that time.  Now that Ana and Jay were renewing their wedding vows, Ana contacted 27 Miracles to coordinate their 20th vow renewal. As planner Rosie Moore sat with the couple listening to how their first wedding was, Jay said. ” I think everything is perfect in the planning.”

Later on Ana said, “yes everything is perfect,  the only thing missing is the horse-drawn carriage and my husband riding in it to get me.  That is something he always said to me, one day I am  going to whisk you away in a horse and carriage, ” and she laughed about it and brushed it off moving on to the next subject.  Well, when Moore heard that, she went to work and obtained the info for the white horse and carriage.  She contacted her friends at High Horse Carriage and spoke with the groom about this wonderful surprise he could do.  He was ecstatic!

We planned for their little girl to come riding in the carriage and bring the wedding rings to the couple down the aisle.  The look on the bride’s face was priceless!

So paying attention to the little things in life throughout the years helps to create surprises that will be memorable throughout the rest of the marriage as was the case with the horse and carriage for Ana and Jay.

Valentine’s Day Countdown Day 4….You Look Wonderful Tonight

27 Miracles is known for their surprise Rose Ceremonies for many different reasons( you never know what the roses are bringing to you) but we always manage to get the surprised party off guard.  On the day of Stella and Tom’s wedding that was exactly what we did.  Tom from the day that he met Wedding Planner Rosie Moore  had said I want to do a special song for Stella and surprise her.  Moore  said sure we will help you do that.  Tom and Stella both like doing Karaoke and when they went out on their first date he sang the song to her  called, ” Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton.  It was the most romantic gift a groom can give to his beautiful bride on their wedding day. It is not that every groom has to sing, it is whatever the groom deems special for his bride to be on their wedding day whether privately or in public.

Keep the romance going even after the wedding day…if you sang to your bride as you dated…keep on singing….it is not about the keys you can hit…but the words you choose to sing to her …..

Valentine’s Day Countdown Day 2……Love Can Overcome The Rain

On a rainy Thursday night Bukola and Frances said their I Do’s.  The ceremony was held at the Beautiful Lake Mary Event Center.  They had their traditional engagement ceremony in the morning and their wedding ceremony and reception in the evening.  It was a day of family, dancing, traditions and celebration.  What we did not ask for was the rain.  The bride wanted to say I love you to the groom with petals on  the grand lawn as they exited the Lake Mary Event Center. Due to the heavy rains that evening, this was not possible to do.  The Bride was all too disappointed.  27 Miracles Master Bridal Consultant Rosie Moore, thought this cannot be.  We know the groom is surprising the bride with their honeymoon location and the bride wanted to do something special for him. After the reception was moved to the ballroom, she spoke with the managers there at the facility to get the indoor ceremony location cleaned up.  At the end of the evening, we wanted to share a private moment with the bride and groom.   Votives were lit to spell I love you.  Moore, called the bride and groom in to the room and what a joy from both the bride and groom to have this last surprise and private moment.

So, never think that a gesture is so small that it will not touch your significant other.  What may seem like a small gesture goes a long way.

Love at Christmas Time

Merry Christmas to all.  We hope that everyone had a wonderful time with their friends and families! Today’s blog is about Ursula and Robert, a couple in love.  Ursula and Robert met in their complex at the gym.  Each time they were out and about their complex, they kept bumping into each other and it was love at first sight! They started dating and the rest is history!!! Robert being the romantic that he is got down on one knee and proposed to Ursula!

Proposal

The happy couple had great plans to have a large wedding, but instead decided that they would have a more intimate and romantic wedding and focus on their new home and their new baby on the way.  Although some folks could not attend this week day ceremony,  the intimacy of the wedding size, was what they both wanted.

Ursula dreamed of a wedding in the park, not an easy task when it’s a park and there is not a true back up for rain.  But the planning went on at Kissimmee Lake Front.  Let’s watch as this day unfolds.

The wedding day arrived!! It was a hot Friday Morning in October. Upper 80’s, sunny but humid and hot! Southern Elegance Limousine started the morning off with picking up our beautiful Bride Ursula at her home to bring her to the ceremony.  The groom Robert and his  best man arrived first.

Daddy’s Little Girl

27 Miracles wants to wish every father out there a Happy Father’s Day!  One of the most special moments at a wedding besides the first dance with your hubby, is the father daughter dance.  Sometimes daddy’s have passed on and not available and we are able to do something different for this moment if the bride wants.  But today we want to give tribute to some very special fathers and daughters out there with daddy’s Little  girl sung by Michael Bolton. we can’t post everyone on here but we have posted a good variety to share with our readers.
