Did you ever have something go wrong during the holidays? Yes, I am sure everyone has had an incident or two, cookies get forgotten for a party after you baked them, oven doesn’t get turned on with your ham, or any number of things. Learn to laugh about them, write them down and these will become your memories for Christmases to come. One year I remember being so busy and doing so much, I made a cheesecake the night before, chilled it and it was ready to serve on Christmas day. I served it and everyone said boy this is good ( saving face, gotta love family) I took one taste and realized, I forgot to add the sugar!! Today, my Dear Husband reminds me every year, don’t forget to add sugar to your famous cheesecake!

Christmas Countdown Day 1 Start a Tradition
Christmas time is a time to start your own family traditions. As you and your new spouse start out your life, you will each have traditions that you both grew up doing. Talk about those traditions and what you liked about each one, then start your own. “Traditions provide a sense of belonging, ” says Barbara Fiese. It can be as simple as creating a holiday dish together, buying a new ornament and hanging it together or watching a favorite movie that puts you in the holiday spirit. Whatever you do, make it special so that it can help you remember that the reason we celebrate Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus! Merry Christmas!
27 Miracles loves to see their couples celebrating family traditions!

Valentine’s Day Countdown Day 11……..Romance in Marriage….
Sometimes in life we get busy and we put things off until we have time to fulfill our dream. Jobs, family, pregnancy and obligations keep us busy. That was the case with Erika and Andres. This beautiful couple had been married for four years but never really had the time to have their formal wedding. Now mind you, Andres is a DJ/MC so seeing weddings every weekend only made their desires grow more. That is when Andres decided one day to just say enough is enough, we are planning a wedding and called on Rosie Moore, Master Bridal Consultant to help.
Erika and Andres’ wedding was going to be about the family and friends having a great time. But at the same time about these two lovebirds enjoying their so long-awaited special day.
They were married in their home church with a reception at the Wyndham Orlando. The wedding brought tears to many as the Officiant retold stories of this couple and baptized their little girl at their ceremony and received communion. It was a bond not only in marriage but in their faith in God.
After their ceremony they got the opportunity to relax and have fun taking pictures and enjoying this special moment that finally came true!
The reception was perfectly set with the right music, lighting and staff. On occasion, planner Rosie Moore, had to let Andres know that he is the groom today …no work…although he did make a live video introducing the happy couple as him and his wife, but it was all in good fun!!
From the food, to the cake, the decor and the music, the night was filled with laughter and just family and friends in the industry enjoying a relaxed but high energy wedding celebration.
One thing that Andres stated, ” I now know what brides and grooms go through as they are planning their special day and it is very stressful, but with the right wedding professionals, you do relax.” What planner Rosie took from that is, brides and grooms come to you as a client and they have not had a wedding before, they entrust their full trust in you and it is up to us the wedding professionals, to make their dream come true…….
The night ended with a farewell to all the guests one by one, they came to hug the happy couple and wish them the best….
So even though you have had your civil ceremony and say, one day we will have the real wedding and years go by and you don’t, do not worry, at whatever stage in your life you are ready, the day will come. It does not have to be about the pomp and circumstance, but about the Romance in your Marriage.
Part of marriage is not tolerating each other only, but romancing your spouse……say I love you for any reason daily, not just “love you” I can love cake and ice cream or the movies….really say ” I Love You” and take ownership of the feelings you are expressing.
27 Miracles wishes many more years of romantic and true love to Erika and Andres……

A Story On The Meaning Of Red Friday
27 Miracles proudly supports our Military troops that serve our country. Fridays are noted as Red Friday. For the Month of May every Friday 27 Miracles will share the military weddings done in honor of those that serve our country so that we can have the freedom that we have today. Please take a moment to read this story on the meaning of Red Friday:
Last week, while traveling to Chicago on business, I noticed a Marine Sergeant traveling with a folded flag, but did not put two and two together. After we boarded our flight, I turned to the sergeant, who’d been invited to sit in First Class (across from me), and inquired if he was heading home. No, he responded. Heading out, I asked. No, I am escorting a soldier home. Going to pick him up? No. He is with me right now. He was killed in Iraq. I’m taking him home to his family. The realization of what he had been asked to do hit me like a punch to the gut. It was an honor for him. He told me that, although he didn’t know the soldier, he had delivered the news of his passing to the soldier’s family and felt as if he knew them after many conversations in so few days. I turned back to him, extended my hand, and said thank you. Thank you for doing what you do so my family can do what we do.
Upon landing in Chicago the pilot stopped short of the gate and made the following announcement over the intercom. “Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to note that we have had the honor of having Sergeant Steeley of the United States Marine Corps join us on this flight. He is escorting a fallen comrade back home to his family. I ask that you please remain in your seats when we open the forward door to allow Sergeant Steeley to deplane and receive his fellow soldier. We will then turn off the seat belt sign.” Without a sound, all went as requested. I noticed the sergeant saluting the casket as it was brought off the plane, and his
action made me realize that I am proud to be an American.
So here’s a public Thank You to our military Men and Women for what you do so we can live the way we do.Red Fridays. Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing Red every Friday. The reason Americans who support our troops used to be called the “silent majority.” We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record
breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or overbearing. Many Americans, like you, me and our friends, simply want to recognize the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday – – and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a
deafening message that…every red-blooded American who support our men and women afar, will wear something red. By work of mouth, press, TV – Let’s make the United States on every Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers. If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, coworkers, friends, and family, it will not be long before the USA is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the once “silent” majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the media lets on.
The first thing a soldier say when asked “What can we do to make things better for you?” is, “We need your support and your prayers.” Let’s get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example and wear something red every Friday.

27 Miracles Countdown to Christmas Day 24
“Be Very Blessed”
“On this Christmas Eve, take a moment to write down all the people and things for which you are grateful. Remembering those who have blessed us is to be renewed and restored in the meaning of life, says Richard Olson a retired Lutheran Pastor and National workshop leader.”
Today as we get ready to celebrate Christmas Eve with friends and family, let us remember that the reason we have Christmas to celebrate today is because of Christ, who was born of the Virgin Mary so that we may have life everlasting. Merry Christmas to all and remember ” Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” Hebrews 13:2

” Save Face”
“Forgot to mail a card to a friend or relative who won’t forget it? Don’t let it stress you out-send an email card that will arrive instantly. Get free ones from websites such as bluemountain.com.”
Well this year I am guilty of sending my cards out late. They are here just not written. However, some of the etiquette frowns on that as well as sending e cards. We are our own person and considering that the 12 days of Christmas starts on Christmas day, I will stand firm and say that My card may arrive to you the day after Christmas but it will be there. Weddings, work, family and a late Thanksgiving date can do all that to you. I know no excuses.
So on that note, Merry Christmas from our family to yours.
