Christmas Countdown Day 3 Let your Kisses Be Long

Did you ever wonder how the mistletoe kiss started?   One Greek tradition said that it had power to give fertility to the couple.  Another belief from Scandinavia said it created peace during a couple’s feud.  In the English tradition, it was noted that if a single girl stood under it and was kissed that it could mean a true romance that would lead to marriage.  Regardless of what traditions we believe about the mistletoe, take some time to find your special someone under the mistletoe.  Surveys show that couples who kiss often are ten times less likely to feel stressed or depressed.  So meet your sweetheart under the mistletoe often for some stress relief therapy!

27 Miracles Countdown to Christmas Day 3

” Let Lips Linger”

“One kiss and tell survey showed that couples who smooch often are eight times less likely to feel stressed or depressed.  So meet under the mistletoe as often as you can for a little therapy.” Better Homes and Garden

27 Miracles is in the business of love (ha and you thought we were in the business of planning weddings only?) Yes we are in the business of love, yes we are planning your beautiful dream wedding,; however we want the love that the two of you have to flow out of all the plans that we make.  When people see everything in the room and in the ceremony we want the guests to feel your love.  How does that happen?  We encourage a lot of communication, remembering why the two of you fell in love.

Forget the guest lists, forget who is coming or not coming, the stress of the planning, you have 27 Miracles to do all the planning for you so that you can enjoy this special time and build moments that will turn in to life long memories.

So go ahead and buy that mistletoe and place it somewhere appropriate and smooch away!

Rosie and Marcus Moore have been married 7 years and every year they would hang the mistletoe in the walkway between the dining room and the kitchen.  About 4 years ago with all the rush of having baby Kaleb in the NICU, when the Christmas decor was put away the mistletoe for the first time was forgotten (it is a fake one) and it stayed out the entire year.

Rosie and Marcus decided to leave it there as a reminder to kiss more often.  It is also nice when  guests come over to their house and they stand under the mistletoe that they can kiss too and we can help spread the love.

Now if only there was a way to get  the bells to ring….( the outside windchimes is as good as it gets!!)

Merry Christmas…Do something fun tonight meet under the mistletoe….
