The age-old question is always, what is the difference between the venue coordinator and the outside wedding planner? The Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) invited Zhay Robles/Catering Manager at 1805 on the Boulevard and Caitlin Lawler/Wedding Planner/Owner of Plan It Event Design and Management to answer those questions. Mark Kingsdorf Master Bridal Consultant and Co Director for ABC facilitated the discussion.
As everyone checked in, the wedding professionals were welcomed to the Crowne Plaza Hotel by Kirk Schenkel, Director of Catering and Convention Services . Our wedding professionals were welcomed with a refreshing Mardi Gras Mojito Cooler and the Chef’s appealing choice of appetizers; while we took a moment to network with some new friends and mingle with some old friends.
Master of Ceremony, Andres Roque of Roque Productions welcomed everyone in to the ballroom with a festive array of Mardi Gras music to get our meeting started. As everyone found their seats, we had a chance to see the beautiful linens, chairs and centerpieces provided by RJ Glamour and Innovation. The up lights provided by Roque Productions, enhanced the Peacock theme that we had going throughout the room.
Allan Saltman ABC Co Director, welcomed all the wedding professionals to our first ABC meeting of 2015. Allan took a moment to introduce new Co Directors Mark Kingsdorf, Master Bridal Consultant and Wedding Sales Manager at Mission Inn and Rosie Moore Master Bridal Consultant with 27 Miracles. After some brief intros we were ready to taste the succulent lunch that The Crowne Plaza prepared for us.
Rose Robinson of The Invitation Lounge tempted our taste buds with the lunch courses on her peacock themed menus. The first lunch course was Herb Seared Duck Breast with Strawberry Risotto and Wilted Arugula. Once that was completed, our second course was Grilled Petite Filet Mignon and Roasted Jumbo Shrimp with American Sauce, Potato Gratin and Grilled Asparagus. What a treat for lunch!
After lunch, our speakers provided some very good insight to the wedding professionals that attended the meeting on the difference between a wedding venue coordinator and an outside wedding coordinator.

Love will find its way to you. Sometimes you search for love in all the wrong places and you get frustrated looking for love. You find someone and the relationship struggles because love did not find its way yet to you. Love is easy but not easy. If in the dating relationship it is a struggle, then is it love or just someone to pass time with. Does everyone have love at first sight? Not really because some folks have to spend a lot of time together to see if they are a good fit. Some people do find love at first sight and when they do….wow …bam…watch out…the room is electrified and their love spills on everyone around them.
That is Migdalia and Edwin’s story…
Both Migdalia and Edwin hoped to find true love and prayed for a special soul mate for several years and on this one special day in the month of love, February, it finally happened! We had to share their story since they fell in love in February!
One evening while planning their wedding, Migdalia shared their engagement story. Edwin just laughed and smiled looking at her like a school kid in love…gotta love it… Ed (as Migdalia calls him) knew that he was going to propose to Mig (as he kindly calls her), so he spoke to her sister and her daughter to just let them know that he wanted to propose, but did not say when. He had a special day planned to ask her. He had bought some dessert to bring for dinner and some other things, Mig being her helpful self, wanted to help bring stuff in. She went in the trunk of the car and saw a little bag from a jewelry store. When Mig saw the little bag she turned to Ed and said, what’s this? Poor Ed, he turned all sorts of colors and nervous and just gave it to her and said can you pretend that I did not give it to you yet. He wanted to ask her after dinner in front of everyone, but Mig says she was so nervous herself that she came in to the house and just told everyone.
Whenever you are around this happy-go-lucky couple, you can feel the energy of love between them as they look into each other’s eyes. Many blessings are desired for this couple as they await the big wedding day coming soon!!
Merry Christmas to all. We hope that everyone had a wonderful time with their friends and families! Today’s blog is about Ursula and Robert, a couple in love. Ursula and Robert met in their complex at the gym. Each time they were out and about their complex, they kept bumping into each other and it was love at first sight! They started dating and the rest is history!!! Robert being the romantic that he is got down on one knee and proposed to Ursula!
The happy couple had great plans to have a large wedding, but instead decided that they would have a more intimate and romantic wedding and focus on their new home and their new baby on the way. Although some folks could not attend this week day ceremony, the intimacy of the wedding size, was what they both wanted.
Ursula dreamed of a wedding in the park, not an easy task when it’s a park and there is not a true back up for rain. But the planning went on at Kissimmee Lake Front. Let’s watch as this day unfolds.
The wedding day arrived!! It was a hot Friday Morning in October. Upper 80’s, sunny but humid and hot! Southern Elegance Limousine started the morning off with picking up our beautiful Bride Ursula at her home to bring her to the ceremony. The groom Robert and his best man arrived first.
It is time to start getting ready, with RJ Glamour providing the bride’s favorite flower, Sunflowers in her bouquet and maid of honor’s of bouquet.
It’s time to start the wedding ceremony to the tunes of Harpist Christine MacPhail as she starts setting the mood of romance with her beautiful harp.
Here Comes The Bride as the groom looks on:
The Father of The Bride, gets ready to release his baby girl to Robert….
Marcus Moore officiated the wedding for this Happy Couple as they did their sand ceremony and an excerpt from Dr Seuss…
Signing the marriage license…
Ursula and Robert surrounded by their close family:
Ursula and Robert thought that they would not get a first dance in, but thanks to some planning with Roque Productions, he was able to play “All of Me” and they got that first dance in with Treasured Moments Videography capturing the emotion live of this happy couple in love, surprised that they can share a first dance after their ceremony!
Michael Anthony Photography captured the Bride and Groom’s fun yet romantic spirit during their portraits in the park..
Ursula and Robert’s family planned a picnic luncheon in the park for the happy couple but one of the things that Ursula and Robert would miss on was their first cake cutting and toast. We could not let that happen, so a cake from Publix came to the rescue as Michael Anthony Photography captured this sweet and fun moment.
The end of a wedding ceremony….but the beginning of a new path in life…marriage and family…
Let’s face it, stress is part of our daily lives. We are stressed about emotional, intellectual or physical demands of our time on a daily basis. Managing stress is the key to having good health and a happier more fulfilling life. At times there are things we cannot change, control or avoid. But if we can practice relaxation techniques to help us.
One study shows that couples that kiss often, are eight times less likely to feel stressed or depressed. So meet under the mistletoe as often as you can for some therapy! Don’t worry if you don’t have mistletoe, see these couples below they make it happen!
Happy Thanksgiving!! Today’s blog is a special one of thanking God for Love at First Site!
Both Migdalia and Edwin hoped to find true love and prayed for a special soul mate for several years and on this one special day in the month of love, February, it finally happened!
As we are all sitting talking about the wedding plans, Migdalia shares their engagement story as Edwin laughs and looks at her like a school kid in love…gotta love it… Ed (as Migdalia calls him) knew that he was going to propose to Mig (as he kindly calls her), so he spoke to her sister and her daughter to just let them know that he wanted to propose, but did not say when. Stay tuned for the big date when this fun-loving couple will tie the knot on the anniversary of their engagement! How cool is that !
Many blessings are wished for Migdalia and Edwin as they start their new life together soon….
Now that is something to be thankful for !! Happy Thanksgiving!
Vikki and Chip are getting married on 12/13/14! Each century contains twelve such sequential number calendar dates, the first being 01-02-03 and the last one, 12-13-14. So, December 13, 2014 will be the last such sequential calendar date in the 21st century!
This happy pair, met on eharmony and for their first date Vikki shares that she wanted everything to be perfect and ended up being 2 hours late and with her brother as a chaperone just to be safe! But Chip waited for her and enjoyed their bowling night.on June 12, 2012. What is quite interesting is that these two grew up in the same town and their families were friends before they were even born. These two were destined from the start!
Vikki is in graduate school for Pharmacy and Chip is a Computer Science Graduate….busy busy lives these two have…but not too busy to hang out a few hours with Michael Anthony Photography and have some fun!
Congratulations to Vikki and Chip! Stay tuned for their Winter Wonderland Wedding !
27 Miracles is honored to know and have served many military clients at their weddings. Today is not the only day that we say thank you, but every day. But in honor of Memorial Day, today we will take time to honor those men and women that gave up their family life so that we can be safe.
We salute you soldiers and thank you for your sacrifice.
Every Friday in the month of May 27 Miracles will be bringing you a different couple that had a military wedding and a story about them in honor of Red Friday. Here is the link for those wondering what Red Friday is…
Antonia and Julio were married 5o years ago. Most recently on December 21, 2013, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, renewing their wedding vows at the beautiful Wyndham Orlando Resort. Julio is retired from the Army.
On a beautiful clear blue sky day in March Lorena and Geoffrey were married at the Church of Latter Day Saints in Windermere. They started their day at the church with a traditional Sealing Ceremony and later the Bride and Groom changed into their formal wedding gown and suit for a family dinner.
If you remember, Lorena and Geoffrey took some fun pictures all over downtown Winter Garden and by the Lake for their engagement session. If you missed their story, click on the link,
As the engagement session said, When You Fall In Love With Your Best Friend, that is Lorena and Geoffrey and you can see it in their eyes as they look at each other or as Geoffrey looks at Lorena’s children.
Sivan Photography captured this happy moment for this couple.
The start of a new life with a new family for these boys….
This fun little guy was captured by the camera, too cute!
The bride and groom wanted to have their close family celebrating this special day with them after the Sealing Ceremony. The Sealing Ceremony is an ordinance (ritual) performed in Latter Day Saints temples by a person holding the sealing authority.[1] The purpose of this ordinance is to seal familial relationships, making possible the existence of family relationships throughout eternity.[2] LDS teachings place great importance on the specific authority required to perform these sealings.
Geoffrey was doing the happy dance!!
The beautiful bouquet with roses and callalillies was made by RJ Glamour and Innovation
Some relax time after a long day!
The day would not be complete without some pictures in the city of Oakland where everything slows down to just the chirping of the birds and the leaves blowing in the wind.
Now what is so funny you ask? Hmm inside joke…..we will never tell….
So in Love!
Romance…
Thank you to Party Flavors for the beautiful pineapple rum cake!
Thank you to RJ Glamour for the bouquet and centerpieces for the family dinner.

It is not often that a planner gets to plan a special event like the 50th Wedding Anniversary of their parents! Rosie Moore, Master Wedding Planner for 27 Miracles had just that opportunity with the assistance on the day of from fellow planners Christine Pabelico and her assistants Tess, Shannon and Kim!
The date December 21, 1963, it was a cold and snowy day for the first day of winter. They thought that they would not be able to have their wedding, but people still made it to the church and the wedding.
Through the years they celebrated many years of good memories. Watch the video of their life together.
As they approached their 50th wedding anniversary the wedding vow renewal planning started about a year before the big date!
They started with a fun-filled engagement session:
But on December 21, 2013, the first day of winter in Florida brought us 85 Degrees! Wow!
The day started with the photography of Michael Anthony Photography capturing the pre-ceremony pictures that included the bride getting ready and her bouquet.
The Beautiful bouquets were made by RJ Glamour and Innovation for the Diva! That is what Juan Carlos, owner, and designer, called Antonia because he was ever so proud to do an event of such honor as someone’s 50th wedding vow renewal for someone who he knew through the wedding industry.
No wedding would be complete without comfortable shoes made for a princess! Angela Nuran provided just that with her shoes and the buckle even matches the pendant on the bouquet, what a coincidence!
When it came time to select her wedding gown, of course, what they made back 50 years ago is not sold in this day and age, unless it is custom-made. But her idea of her dress was that of Cinderella because that is what she always said her life was like until Julio, her Prince Charming, swept her off her feet!
It’s time to get ready……
And the bride is ready…..
It was quite an honor to have three generations in one room celebrating this special day. Antonia was joined by her daughter Rosie, grand-daughter Kayla, and Grandson Kaleb.
The flower girl in the picture has been babysat by Antonia since birth; so to have her on this day was going to be part of the memories to share..
Now Julio had been through quite a bit….back in 2006 (3 months before his daughter Rosie Married Marcus), he had a series of strokes with a major one that set him back in the hospital. But through prayers, faith, and the help of the staff and family he regained his ability to get his life back.
He started his day with son in law Marcus and grandson Christopher. Now Julio is retired from the army and what better way to honor him than having the honor guard perform for him. The honor guard walked into Proud To Be An American as they set their flags. Then honored Julio with a saber ceremony.
No ceremony would be complete without the beautiful romantic music of Christine MacPhail the harpist.
Okay, the big moment has arrived, Julio has not seen Antonia since dinner the night before. He was kind of nervous as he did not know what was happening next.
Who would have thought that this 1lb 10 oz preemie baby boy would be walking down the aisle at his grandma’s wedding vow renewal 4 yrs later…..
The first-born grandchild Christopher, got the honor of escorting his grandmother down the aisle to the traditional wedding march.
The handoff to Julio…
You have to love the shots that photographers take and capture moments like this, Kaleb, the ring bearer intently paying attention to what is happening.
Christopher sang the Lord’s Prayer during the ceremony, bringing emotion to all that were present.
Now everyone knows that Marcus does not speak Spanish. For the wedding ceremony with some coaching from Oscar of Sensational Ceremonies, he recited a few verses from First Corinthians 13 much to Antonia and Julio’s surprise. They were touched by the heartfelt gesture.
It was a little too windy for the unity candle to be lit, but it did not stop them from trying with the Ave Maria playing in the background by Christine MacPhail the Harpist.
And they are husband and wife, what the Lord has joined together let no man separate…
The Bridal Party!
The Happy Couple!
Officiant Pastor Santos!
The immediate family!
Now it is time to see the artwork of RJ Glamour and Innovation coupled with the lighting special effects of Roque productions in the beautiful Wyndham Orlando Resort,
The ballroom reveal……seeing everything before the guests do…..
Judging from that smile, they were very pleased with everything……as they heard the tunes of Louis Armstrong singing When You Wish Upon a Star……
Look at the beautiful cake from Party Flavors!! Not only beautiful but tasty too!!!
Each table was named with the fruits of the spirit, love, patience, kindness, …in Spanish and English…
Let the celebration begin by looking at the family pictures dating back to their dating years and their wedding photo restored to color, thanks to West Orange Photo!
And here come the two flower girls and the ring bearer…
The bridesmaid and groomsman aka the grandkids( brother and sister), I guess for this instance “cootie alert ” is down…funny how kids still think that…..
Matron of Honor and Best Man
Awaiting the bride and Groom’s grand entrance
Mr. and Mrs. Freijo!
The blessing by Delilah…..
The toast!
After a most delicious dinner prepared by the staff at the Wyndham Orlando( people are STILL saying how great the food was) it was time for the slide show…5 decades of memories….( you can see at the beginning of the blog)
No Wedding is complete without cutting the cake to A kiss is just a kiss by Louis Armstrong…
And their original cake cutting picture on the cake table…..Who has been married the least amount of years? That is the game that Andres the MC from Roque productions played…..much, to everyone’s surprise, this happy couple married just a few short months
What advice can Antonia and Julio give to make it the last 50 years? Love, patience, and more love…….and understanding…..
A bouquet to start that road to marriage……
It is time to thank the guests for coming and the vendors for their fabulous work to make this wedding vow renewal the success that it was! But before they say good-bye…Vocalists Kristin and Chris had a very special good bye to sing…..”Time to Say Good Bye ” By Andrea Boccelli…..
Now we all know that it does not snow in Florida right? But we were worried about cold fronts, rain in December. Thanks to our friends the Forecasting Team (a meteorology forecasting company) they gave the thumbs up for perfect weather! And indeed it was with sunny blue skies….but if we were to recreate the wedding blizzard they had 50 years ago how were we to do that? Luckily Brian from Standing Ovation came to the rescue and made it snow in Florida!!!
As they went on board their classical car for a ride around O’town with chauffeur Miguel from Southern Elegance!!!
And they lived happily ever after……………
Thank you, Christine and Tess, for the wedding day coordinators on this day!
